Overview:
This quick how do guide walks you through the process of creating a new layer in XMAP, create columns and put the new layer into a collection.
Steps to creating a new layer:
Administration >> Data >> Layers
In the Layers section, click on the + icon to create a new layer.
In LAYER OPTIONS:
LAYER TYPE - Empty Layer
LAYER GEOMETRY - Set to either Point, Line or Polygon
click SHOW DATABASES - Set to your database
SCHEMA - Set to the schema you want the data to be added to
TITLE - Set the name you want the layer to appear in XMAP, in the TABLE NAME any special characters you’d added to the title will be removed.
In TABLE SETUP:
Set the column names you want, along with the Type. If you want to set Allows Values click on add+
Click CREATE LAYER
